TG has good advice - the Saab DI current is way stronger than your average ignition system.
While on a business trip with my boss to Ciuad Jarez, Mexico, my boss and I took in some of the local sights (aka strip bar) and got more than a little drunk. Well upon leaving the bar, the car would not start. My boss being the in charge drunken fool that he was, jumped out and opens the hood to mess with the carburetor, and says turn it over when he says to.
Well he assumes the position of leaning over the carb, I crank it and his long tie (the stupid SOB always wore long ties) somehow gets caught in the fan belt and is pulling his face towards the fan, and the car had started. I did kill the engine, and the next day he thanked me several times for saving his neck.
Wish I had the moment on film.
