DI: a roadside fix ?

Having 2 9-5's and occasionally driving them to places where they've never heard of Saab, it seems it might not be a bad idea to get a spare DI cassette; even if I never need it for emergencies, it'll probably get used anyway when we get to 100k miles down the road.
My question is the following; how difficult and involved is it to swap in a new cassette ? Is this something that a technically competent but non-mechanic can do on the roadside with a screwdriver and a wrench, or is this something that requires a tow to the mechanic (which, in the boondocks of PA, might mean to someone who is looking at his first Saab ever) ?? If it is the former, does anyone know if there is a concise set of installation instructions that has been posted here or anywhere else ? I'd like to print that out and keep that together with the spare DI in the trunk.
I know the odds on a failure are not high, but they seem to happen often enough to make a little insurance well worth the modest investment...
