Hi Anders,
We're not questioning you, but I think think that Saab LL fully
synthetic 0W-30 really _is_ Mobil. Even if it is not, it passes ACEA A5.
So, that's as good as Mobil 1 gets in xW-30 weight. It's cool that we're
finally getting a quality synthetic at the dealer, and it's even better
that the price is inexpensive. Maybe Saab is getting a bulk discount?
The following is excerpt from Mobil 1. Jason or Greg can correct me,
but I think Tri-Synthetic Mobil 1 predates A5/B5.
Benefits of Mobil 1 with SuperSyn™ 5W-30:
Keeps today's hot-running engines clean by controlling deposit formation.
Offers an ideal balance of low- and high-temperature performance.
Helps extend engine life by reducing oil breakdown under "severe service."
5W-30 is the viscosity grade recommended for many new vehicles.
Exceeds API SL/CF and ILSAC GF-3.
Exceeds ACEA A1/B1 and A5/B5.
thanks
Jae
