Please respond accurately to the following scenario.
Foot on brake, start engine, move gear lever from P to D.
Engine immediately revs to full throttle and the car moves off. Maximum pressure applied on brakes, car slows down, but this has no effect on the engine power which remains at full throttle.
Car travels for about 200 metres and only comes to a stop on impact with another object.
WHY IN THIS SCENARIO DOES THE DEPRESSED BRAKE PEDAL FAIL TO INDUCE THE T7 TO CEASE FIGHTING THE BRAKES
