ECM recall -- again? (+)

This may be old news... I am quoting March 2003 issue of Motor magazine:
Saab
ECM recall. The technicians at Saab inform us that 1999-2000 9-5 models with VINs from X3000001 through Y3046304 and an ECM manufactured before 12/6/99 are subject to recall. The ECMs have defective rubber supports for the circuit board that contain substances that promote oxidation. This eventual deterioration leads to open circuits. The problem may cause engine starting problems and uneven running. Also, when the trouble arises, the Check Engine lamp may light and the car may go into limp-home mode.
The affected vehicles are those with the following ECMs:
53 80 712 T7 for 1999 B235E up to VIN X3020000
53 80 704 T7 for 1999 B235E above VIN X3020001
53 81 199 T7 for 2000 B235E
53 81 165 T7 for 2000 B235R
53 80 720 T7 for 1999 B308E up to VIN X3020000
53 80 688 T7 for 1999-2000 B308E from VINs X3020001 through
Y3039999
53 81 025 T7 for 2000 B308E from VINs Y3040000 through Y3046304
Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by Saab. Vehicles in which an ECM was replaced on a warranty claim with a repair date of 3/1/00 or later are considered completed under the terms of the recall.
