Hello All,
I have not posted much on this board, but check it daily for helpful and informed opinions / advice.
Just thought I would share the solving of a rattle in the rear of my 95 Wagon which I had been trying to solve for some months.
Eventually traced it to one of the nuts on a bolt which securing the wiper motor to the internal frame on the tailgate. The nut had worked itself loose and thus the bolt was rattling when the car crossed uneven or rough surfaces. Had to remove the internal panel on the tailgate, tricky to do, as you are always afraid that something is going to snap or break off (thankfully it didnt!). Also needed to detach the wires to the courtesy lights. Once done the panel comes off and you have access to the guts of the frame. I used a rubber washer just to be sure and then tightened the offending nut. Problem solved.
Hope this proves of help to someone.
