Andy: It might appear to fit when just mounted and sitting on the car while still, but when the front wheels are turned to full lock and the suspension compression/extension limits are taken into account, you might get interference. Bill S made a very important coment hat I will verify. A quiet high pperformance tire when new is typically much quieter than it will be as the tread wears down. This happened on a set of Dunlop SP 9000 tires that I just retired from my Aero with about 15k miles on them. Mostly worn down, and noisy since about 9000 miles.
I just did a search on thie topic before selecting new tires for my Aero, and determined that Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires got the best reviews in terms of maintaining thier low noise level as the tread wears down. They also were reported to be giving owners about 30k of life, which is a lot more than many other high performance tires. I haveonly had them on now for three weeks, so cannot coment on the tread life, but the noise level is reasonably low. Maybe not the quietest tire on the market, BUT,if it maintains this level throughout the tread life, it will have been worth it. Note that this is an all season tire. I put them on three weeks ago, and here in NH we have had three small snowfalls since then and I have had the opportunity to now drive with them in snow. They are pretty darn good at it. Not good enough to use year round up here, but depending on where you live and drive, you might want a tire like this year round. Good luck on your choice.
