Why do they need replaced? My 99 9-5 has 116,000 miles and the front shocks are still good. If they pass the rebound test and are not leaking I would put off replacement for now. If they truly need replacement, I would recommend Bilstein. Have used Koni and Bilstein. Have Bilsteins on the rear of the 9-5 because I pull a trailer and wanted the improved control. At each service I ask my Master Tech about the fronts and he states that they are just fine and since they are not leaking, leave them alone. Good luck,
Ian
