I have this exact model, 2003 Linear Wagon, 5 speed. As others have pointed out, it is hard to find, but my dealer had one on the lot!
I would not make MPG the decision maker in purchasing this vehicle. My wife and I love manual transmissions, which is why we bought it. I seems most 5 speeds are Aeros, but the Linear has nice performance and as others have said the clutch is very smooth. I only have 2000 miles on the car, engine is still breaking in, so my MPG may not be quite as accurate. I am about 26 MPG 50/50 city/hwy mix. I only use super unleaded and just switched the oil to mobil 1 0w-40.
The other great thing is the look you get when you say you have a 5 speed station wagon, people really are not expecting this!
