The Saab cross bars are Thule, and are dedicated to the 9-5 Sedan (holes provided under push-away rubber over doors). Seems unwise to give that up. When I was looking for a cage for the top, I was told that one would fit the other, and I can't remember whether round won't go on square, or vice versa. I think the Yakima will fit those bars, but you can check in a big sporting goods/outdoor store that has both on display. I think the yakima is more robust than the Thule, and if I had already owned it, I would have used the Saab cross bars and the Yakima racks. Thule makes a thing called the "playpen" which is a very sturdy, capacious top cage, which i really like. There is a dealer in the pacific n/w who sells the Thule stuff on the internet (ebay is the way to find him) at good prices. But go with the Saab cross bars - they tie right into the top of the car. http://www.GenuineSaab for a good price.
