Then Saab is right about not offering it. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I took the leather strap of a small fanny pack and put it in the path of a rising window on a friend's A-6 last year, and the window just kept going on it's merry way,wedging the strap in the window track. If that had been a child's finger, it would have been crushed.
I would much rather have windows that dont take all afternoon to go up like Saab's to the added complexity of express up windows. If the speed were faster,the need for the express up would go away. My 9000 Aero used to go 0-60 in less time than it took to raise the window leaving the toll booth!
