Not getting out on the track was a disapointment. It would have been nice if they used the short loop of Road Atlanta for the autocross. I was looking forward to being able to compare the performance differences between paddle shifting and the full auto sport mode. But that did not happen due to the limited autocross course. But it was fun to toss the car around and see some of its potential. We did manage to wear one of the autoccross car's tires to the cord. And the car only had about 500 miles on the odo!
I would have also been nice to have more input from SAAB on the car other than the promo they gve us. A real tech talk about the Aero and possible programable and/or performance changes. Input other than "I think that your dealer can change that for you."
Was it worth dropping $500 on air fare, hotel and rental car? Yes. Was it worth it if you also had to pay the $1,350 for the course? No.
