Jason,
Beware of 235/45 17 tires on an Aero. 235/45 tires should be on 17x7.5 minimum rims and the stock Aero at least in 2000/2001 came with 17x7 rims. I believe the later Aeros did too. This isn't good for two reasons, first as I found out many years ago, tires that are too wide for the rims may fall apart and second it won't help your handling. To get maximum handling out of a tire, it should be on as wide of a rim as it will take. Besides the larger tires won't help with acceleration except to prevent wheel spin, the 1.5 percent larger dia. will cost an equal amount in acceleration times and your speedometer will be off by an equal amount in the directions of more tickets for speeding. The speedometer though can be taken care of by having it reset with a Tech II for 16 inch dia. wheels as the stock 215/55 16 tires of the 2.3 and SE are essentially the same diameter as 235/45 17 tires.
