hmmm.... I just got out of my V6 9-5 and didn't notice that. The idle's always been smooth except during first startup in the AM. It usually idles a bit rough until it warms up then its fine. You might want to have it checked out at the 1000 mile oil change.
I wish there was a way to override the Sport mode and have it on 24/7 but there isn't to my knowledge, not even a Tech 2 service can fix this. I've gotten into the habit of pressing the S button every time I put 'er into drive.
The V6 makes for a great car. I've really enjoyed mine these past 35,000 miles. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours too.
