With such low mileage, chances the turbo, the SID nor the DI cassette have been changed under warranty. Those are the main areas of PROBABLE failure on the 01. I insist on probable because I am NOT saying every 01 has had these problems but there is enough reported occurrences to be cautious. The SID is no big thing, just a few pixels disappearing on the display. To learn more on the turbo issue, research «blue smoke at start-up». A lot of turbos have been replaced on warranty because sometimes a puff of blue smoke would appear at start-up. The replacement turbo is an improved version, which does not seem to exhibit this behaviour. As for the DI cassette, this is more or less the plague of the modern car. Many other manufacturers, especially VW, have had problems with their Direct Ignition technology. I was told by a trustworthy source at Saab Canada that this replacement part has also been improved. Many 9-5 owners have had no problems at all but I guess I got a winning number a got all three cited problems on our 01 9-5 lpt. Nevertheless, we absolutely love it and still don't know what else we would buy instead. Now have 70,000 kilometres (44K) and doing only oil changes. Note: The 185 lpt has a lot of torque but can be a little sluggish on take off when the weather is very warm. A fast cure for this is to replace ECU by an Aero unit, as I have done (also covered by warranty if your dealer is as wise as mine) Makes a big difference and does not significantly influence gas mileage unless it improved it a little. BTW, for it's size and weight, this car is very good at the pump! Best in it's class. In any case, every body seems to agree that the 9-5 is the best Saab ever built. The 9-3 ss is very promising but still a little young to judge.
