The first day with my new Arc, when the sun got low in the sky, I noticed that the rear window was really dirty. It looked like it had been in a dust storm, followed by a rain storm -- drop marks and all. Then I discovered the dirt was on the inside! The next day, I noticed the same with the glass in the moonroof. I have never seen this on a new car before.
Obviously, the dealer prep boys didn't do their job (they smeared up the inside of the windshield, and then stopped). But the question is, why would the glass be filthy on the inside? Except for the glass, the interior appears spotless. Is there some point in the manufacturing process where the glass sits out in the weather before it is installed in the body of the car?
