Mobil 1 ATF will mix with non-synthetic just fine. Still a good idea to make the drain 3 times or so, but no need to panic if you don't do it all within minutes--weeks are OK, too.
Saab has said not to use synthetic oil for about 25 years, until they got one with their name on it. Then it is fine! Saab has said not to use synthetic ATF in automatics for about as long as I can remember. I've been using AMSOIL ATF in my Saabs since it came on the market about 20 years ago!
