If you actually go to a dealer who has a genuine Kelley Blue Book with actual wholesale prices in it, only dealers get the actual wholesale/retail Blue Book, the ones you see at the book store are ringers kinda' like the KBB website, anyway the wholesale/retail numbers are right next to the original MSRP. Right now incentives on a new 2003 9-5 are over $5,000! So a proportional amount must be deducted from the Blue Book values.
If your were a friend of mine and asked me to tell you what your car was worth in trade I'd refer you to the KBB website, trade in value and use fair as the condition. Not because your particular car is in fair conditon, but because of all the 0% financing, rebates and incentives, the market for used cars is only fair. This is true of almost every make and model, not just a Saab thing. Then make any adjustments for major items and add a couple of thousand for a fair retail value.
