Unforntunately I'm not 100% certain what the exact adjustment was. The service record indicates: "Trunk lid stops noisey - aligned trunk lid, removed excess sealer from front corners of trunk lid lube and adjust stops on car body at fron of lid".
Perhaps your SAAB service dept can make sense of this.
If your rattle is from the same location, I'm betting this trunk lid issue is the cause of your problem.
