Coming back from our annual 500 mile trip to Canada and my 2001 Saab 9-5 (38,000 miles) check engine light came on, luckily there was a Saab dealer close by. When turning car would stall out if gas was not applied. Problem is internal sensors, which the the Saab mechanic reset and said to get replaced if I make it home. It is covered by warranty in US, but US warranty is not covered in Canada (makes no sense). Has anyone ever had this problem before? I am starting to think my Saab is completely unreliable. Last year on the trip it was the DI Cassette, this year the sensors. Both very dangerous when traveling, especially so far away from home. It is a very helpless feeling. I read of Saab's high reliability, but I should be able to count on this car at all times. I still would like to get another, because I like everything about it, except the the worry of the car breaking down.
