This happened about 1 year ago....I was in my '01 9-5 SE. Onstar
was active (I had the car for 6 months)
I was making a left turn. A caddy going about 50-60 MPH blew
through the light (that just turned red), and t-boned me.
Passenger side and both front airbags deployed. Onstar did not
contact me like they should.
On the other hand, the SAAB did an excellent job absorbing the energy.
The B-piller deformed as designed (penduluming in to deflect the energy away from the head). However, there was no passenger, so I can not say if anyone would have been injured.
Note that the other car (a caddy) had onstar, and they called him.
