I have a 2000 aero automatic myself and just recently installed a Stage 1 ECU and JR filter. The torque is limited in 1st and 2nd gears but the "off the line pick up" is noticably better. Squeezing into a tight spot on a left turn was a tad scary waiting for boost to build up before the ECU swap. Initial throttle response is better now and left turns are a breeze as very little lag is noticable. 3rd and 4th gear are just silly and if youre passing on the freeway, the car will be in triple digits before you know it. I've never owned a car this fast and had to force myself to stop nailing the throttle every straightaway I come to. I am proud to say I now only gun it when I can clearly see there are no cops ahead! he he The only drawback is the 13mpg I am now averaging in city driving. (A/C on most of the time)
