I am a first timer to this forum and i was hoping to get some of my doubts cleared.

I am seriously considering the 9-5 aero wagon with automatic. All the reviews i read so far rate the automatic as the better choice, would you agree ?

I am totally new to the world of saabs, my current car being a '96 Nissan 300ZX 5spd. One thing that strikes me is the depreciation. Would i be better of getting a 2002 used aero for 27K(EDMUNDS price for a used Saab) instead of getting a 2003 for $35K and then suffering $8k in depreciation.

Why do they decpreciate so much ? Or is this wrong info ?
