I'm assuming but the car is not under warranty, correct?
I had a problem with our Rover, before a road trip we were going on and I couldn't figure it out and the dealership was open (Saturday) and said they could diagnosis the problem and most likely have me on the road by Monday. Anyway 2 weeks $2000.00 later they still said they were trying to locate the problem. I was having a bad month...
I ended up towing the vehicle out, arguing about the bill and was thrown out...really odd month...
I took the vehicle to an indy (Rover Specialist) and he had it diagnosed in a day (Hall sensor in the dizzy).
Maybe an indy would be a good idea, cause I know dealerships put priority on the warrantied cars.
Oh...our truck was not under warranty.
Where do you live? I'm sure someone can help you with a recommendation.
