I've had all of these tires on my '00 Aero @ 82k mi. All have been replaced at 10-25K M because of noise. All were fine when new but gradually became louder with miles despite tire rotation alignment checks & frequent pressure checks.
The Michelins lasted the longest but over-all were the worst performing tire. The Contis turned in very well but became the loudest the soonest, lasting ~10k mi. The Sumitomos lasted ~20 k mi & generally seemed fine with good ride & adhesion but slower initial response. The Yokos now have ~5k mi & also seem fine- quiet, good adhesion & initial turn-in better than the Sumis but not as quick as the Contis. I'll probably try the Pirellis next.
My question to the Tirerack guys was why do some cars go through tires like this-is it a car
