You mentioned you had the SID replaced. What actually goes wrong with the SID. I read a lot of posts mentioning SIDs going bad. I have an '00 Aero with about 45K miles so I only have 5K left of the original factory warantee and I've heard that Saab CPO warantee which will cover the next 50K miles, does not cover the radio.

Are the radio & SID the same. The dealer told me I would eventually receive a packet in the mail telling me what exactly is covered under the CPO warantee but I never receiver it. What exactly is covered & isn't covered. Is the additional 2yr/50K on top of the original 4yr/50K a FULL bumper-2-bumper?

Is there anything I should have inspected before the initial warantee ends, in case it's better to have it repaired under the initial warantee?
