They are very good tires. For a 16" size, use 225-50-16XL - V speed rated. They are excellent in rain and wet and dry snow. Not up to the digging power in deep snow as say Hakka 2 or Hakka Q, and not as good on ice as *studded* Hakka 2 or Hakka Q ... but a world better than either on dry and wet roads. Depends on where you live.

I did not find the ride and handling markedly different between the above mentioned WRs and the OE Primacy ... a little better ride, a little worse handling, with emphasis on the *little*. As for wear, they carry a UTQG trad wear rating of 400. In one winter, I lost about 1/32 on the fronts, nothing on the backs. That makes them good for 14 winters - then they get to be used as summer tires...noise was not a problem.
