I also should have said that to have BOTH wheel bearings go at the same time (one is unusual at that mileage) is really unlikely. the right one takes more of the weight because of the banking of the road, and the right drivers, bearing and tires go faster than the left (front), but a shot bearing is usually a one-sided thing, at one time. Something is rubbing down there, and a good, honest mechanic will be able to tell you (often just by listening) what it is.
