Massachusetts is a weird state when you sell a car privately. I think there is some kind of 3 or 6 month previous owner responsibility clause in which the new owner can hit you up for unidentified issues. I would double check this, but I remember reading it somewhere.

Granted, I sold my Viggen privately and sold a Mazda Miata privately as well, to someone who lives in NH. The dealers will give you the lowest possible price. You're much better advertising it here on Saabnet or in the Boston Globe. The fact that yours is a '98 makes it an attractive car to buy too.
