Dude, I hate to say this but I think you're screwed. Everything I've heard or read on this subject, basically states that if you lose all your keys you have to have some computer replaced within your car and it will cost you about $1000 - no joke. I really hope I'm wrong, but there's a reason why I just bought two used all-in-one keys on eBay this past week. I lost one of my keys and I've been terrified since to lose my last key. Once my key parts arrive in the mail next week I was heading to the dealership to have them rekeyed & programmed.

Was this a Saab dealer you bought it from? Because of Saab's security' system' you needed to have a spare (sorry for the reminder). Maybe you can find a totalled Saab at a junk yard which has a key and take it's computer and it's key. That might be the only cheap way, and even then I'm not sure if it's possible to swap out the computers or what might be involved.

Maybe you could try complaining to Saab USA, to fix this. It really is outrageous that Saab would engineer a system that would cost the legitimate owner $1000 to fix.

Also, as you just purchased it last Fri, you might want to consider your local lemon laws. Technically speaking you car is not driveable and the dealership may be responsible for the costs to repair. This all depends on your state. I know in MA, you get minimum 30 days. This sounds cruel to the dealership, but honestly, they should NEVER have sold you a Saab without a spare key. If they disagree, you could always threaten to take them to court, claiming they did not tell you this, etc. The dealership probably made at least $1000 in profit on you. They had no way of stopping you from losing the only key, but in fairness they should have provided two keys given the car's system. Maybe they'll agree to share 1/2 the cost.
