I think they would look great. The problem w/ the Saab wheels is Saab still hasn't figured out that if you put a high shine finish (not chrome) on wheels, it makes them look a lot better. I love the finish of the BBS RK wheels and think that's one reason why they look so much better on our cars. The other is that they are a 17X8 inch wheel and better fill out the wheel wells, making the car look like it has a wider stance.
I think the complaints are pertaining to two things. One is that if you nail a pothole these wheels can bend. I had an unfortunate experience w/ one of my RK's (not the 2-piece, mine are 1-piece) where I had to air chisel the wheel off the car (not from a pothole and I obv. had to replace w/ a new one). Let me tell you, these wheels are not weak! They are constructed very well. The other complaint is that if you rash one of these wheels and have someone repair it, they cannot match the paint. I've seen it tried and tried again and never seen anyone get it right. So if you need to repaint one wheel, you're going to have to repaint all of them.
A good way to get rid of your stock Aero wheels is to sell them in the classifieds section of this site. The cost is minimal (don't remember how much) but I'm sure someone will snap them up for their 9-5 Linear or Arc, or maybe even a 9-3. Good luck and I apologize for the length of this!
