Place an ad on Saabnet (and/or NINES) and that car will fly out of there if it's fairly priced and with documented good maintenance. (hmmm, 2 or 3 years old, zip miles, all you need to show is 3 oil changes ... 4 would be a bonus). Goldberger's rule of thumb ... since it's '04 in a couple of days, new list price for a so-equipped Arc is what, $38K? ... is 19K plus an adjustment for low miles (worth around $1300).

If you sell it privately and purchase a new replacement, an accomodating dealer can be prevailed upon to process the paperwork for you, making it look like a "trade-in" (in Ohio, that saves you plenty on the sales tax), giving the buyer the opportunity to upgrade the car to CPO.
