that Dexcool is usuable and ok, but to change it every two years as a normal coolant.
The quinkydink with that is that it completly offset (nullifie) the whole scenario with longlife coolant and the enviromental points that car manufacturer score by using it.
This comes down to big money if they would loose those points.
It really kind of resembles the oil war and how manufacturers pushes for longer and longer intervals to show how enviromental and inexpensive the car is to own for, let say 3 year 30K miles (who cares if you need a new engine at 31K ;o).
