1) Extended warranty: dunno--your '03 should be very reliable, but if I were to buy one I think the GMPP is probably the best bet (very few items not covered, and it's unlikely that they'll go bankrupt like Warranty Gold did).
DI: I keep a spare anyway. SID and throttle body: these cost than the price of a the extended warranty.
My only concern, long-term, is the high price of the repair of the ACC mixer flap if that should break.
As for rotors, those are consumables and I believe they are not covered by any extended warranty. Anyway, probably $75 or less ea. at a site sponsor.
Others report longer rotor life and less brake dust by changing to EBC Greenstuff pads. Some absolutely hate those pads. I have no experience with them.
I like the original brakes and I expect the front rotors to last through at least two sets of brake pads (70K), so that's fine by me. I'm sticking with the original brake pads at least for now.
2) Aero Academy does not include hotel or airfare.
3) CD changer- you have to use the special SAAB one, I think it's $400 to $500 at site sponsors. It needs to be married to your car by the dealer, with a Tech II tool.
At least SAAB doesn't have cassette only, which MB and BMW have been doing until very recently. I like the in-dash CD plus cassette layout (cassette allows AUX input, and with in-dash CD I feel no real need for a changer, though I've been tempted!)
