Didn't read the responses prior to mine but perhaps someone mentioned a stuck open pressure relief valve. Hard to do especially for a woman driving at night,but the warning light must be obeyed immediately and until disproven. Since the engine is giving you confirmation, do not start the engine again. Have it towed to your mech. Personally, I would not restart this engine without changing something. Oil pumps rarely fail because they are generally well lubed. I have had a pressure relief valve stick on an 8 valve 900 and presume that all engines have such a device. You may get lucky once pressure is restored but certainly some damage has occured
