... that Bret is right about the number of opinions available. I think one thing to consider is availability. When I was shopping for tires I had considered several different brands, many of which were available to me only over the internet. Shipped to a local shop and installed there. OK, fine. But what happens if you are out of town and something happens that requires replacing a tire? I know I sound like Mom, but it could happen. For this, and several other reasons I went with Bridgestones Turanza's. I've put about 5000 miles on them and are very happy with them as an all around tire. And on a recent trip to several not so nearby states I happened to notice that there were Bridgestone dealers everywhere.
