When we run out of loaners here at Marvin K. Brown we'll rent a Hertz for a customer. We have a Hertz counter here at the dealership.
Do they have a car rental outlet there at the dealer? Perhaps Enterprise will pick you up, like they advertise?
Ask if Saab or the dealer won't pick up the tab. The dealer should have a rental car company they do business with who will accept the dealers purchase order so you won't have to get re-imbursed.
You're definitely on solid ground asking for substitute transportation for a service "comeback", a repeat performance of a problem. If the service advisor won't co-operate ask for the service manager. Be polite and explain your job interview problem.
I'll wager they come through for you. You just have to kick it up a level.
