If you don't have the choice of another dealer in your area, then you probably need to switch to another brand of car.
Although, honestly, its a crap shoot -- my folks have a fairly new Toyota Camry that has had so so many problems its almost unbelievable. Window motors failing multiple times, engine oil leaks, transmission oil leaks, etc. And the dealer never offers a loaner of any kind. (they bought the car new from that dealer, too!)
I drove Nissans for many years -- yes because I enjoyed driving them, they are reliable, but a huge factor was an incredible local dealer --who always provided loaner cars (for my Sentra or my Maxima!) -- had courteous, fast, and not overly expensive service.
That dealer experience spoiled me -- now I wouldn't buy a car from a dealer that didn't do everything it could to keep me as a happy customer.
Good luck --
Pete
