Rattling/vibration noise for Saab 9-5

Hello,
I have a 99 9-5 2.3t auto with 74k miles on it and it has rattling noises all over the car including the engine.
The engine noise sounds like a diesel engine in low rpm from inside the car. I took it to that famous Saab technician in Los Angeles today and he diagnosed power steering pump as the culprit, and I think he's right on target. He said this is very common for 9-5 since the power steering pump is made by GM (same pump used in Cadillac). Other Saab technician elsewhere just told me it's the water pump since it was leaking a little and that I also needed to replace the serpentine belt with the pulley.
Other noises(I wrote it last month) I have is rattling/vibration from dash area and steering column (not from the engine area), glove box compartment and front passenger door speaker when I'm on the freeway.
Since I bought the car used in March and still have over 4 years left on payment, I've finally decided to spend a FORTUNE on these repairs. But had I known about this infamous power steering pump problem on all 9-5s, I never would've bought this piece of sh?t. No wonder most people in LA buy Lexus. Most Saab dealers will tell you these noises are NORMAL, but I disagree.
