We had the exact same situation on a 9-3. All of the heating pads were already in the car and we needed only to plug in under the seats and install the switches.
Try putting the seat all the way up and forward and looking for connectors under the back of the seat with two black wires.
Pretty expensive job if you have to add them. Probably 3 hours per seat and about $300 per for the pads and the switch so about $1200 total.
