Hrmmmmm.....
I might be getting a little jealous here, can I put in vented seats after the fact?? :)
It could've just been another 'line' fed to my by the salesman here at the Denver, CO dealer about the integrity of the vented seats. I found that no one there had any knowledge of this car whatsoever. "Yes sir...the 9-5 has a 6 cd changer in-dash...." or here's even a better one..."Those indentations on the back bumper is part of a new design for 2003." or my favorite..."Of course you can get a 9-5 with a navigation system...there just aren't any available right now as they're a hot item."
UGH!!! Sorry...just had to vent to someone. I ended up getting my Aero through my credit union's car buying service at fleet price because I got so fed up with the dealer...especially after they told me there were no insentives on the car. Because of that, the dealership hasn't been any help to me whatsoever. I've had to get Saab Corporate on the phone with them to honor my 5k mile interval oil changes, and other service items. They couldn't even tell me what the recommended size winter tires were for the car.
I'm just baffled because I lived in CT for 29 years, I had a 1979 900s that the service specialists would come out to look at, roll up there sleeves, flip their tie over their shoulder and get dirty just to try and locate whatever problem it was that I had. Also, my father had a 1989 9000 Turbo that he bought used...they treated him like it was a brand new car just bought from them.
Yesterday, (after a year of owning the car), I just got a call from Saab Corporate saying I will have my Aero Academy information in the mail soon. So something is going my way here :)
Sorry folks...this post wasn't meant to be an 'Anti-Denver Saab Dealership Rant'...just kind of gets my goat that there's such a difference between dealerships...it's really kind of sad.
