In addition to the higher rpm shift points and the sooner downshifts, the electronic throttle map is quicker, in effect the throttle linkage is amplified, more go for a given poke.
Let me see if I've got this straight? You pay alot extra for a high performance version of a car and then worry about using the high performance part?
Anyway I almost always drive my 2000 Aero in sport. The 5-speed auto vs the 4-speed auto is even more happy in sport.
