Saab 9-5 Aero as Snowplow

Agreed, agreed and agreed.
We got an even 12" here. We don't get enough snow each year to warrant a snow blower (IMO) so I was faced with shovelling a 60' stretch out to the road and four slots for four cars.
After finishing the walks and the deck and uncovering the cars, I, not feeling as spry as my youger years, was looking for alternatives and my coffee. Meanwhile my wife was looking thru the wantads for someone to call with a plow. And with a gravel driveway, I despise snowplows.
So, I jumped in, warmed the Aero up for a couple minutes, switched off the TCS and proceeded out (I back in to park). What a surprise when I easily drove right out to the road! Well, I stopped short of the snowbank the town deposited at the entrance to avoid ripping up the airdam. But after several backs and forths up and down the drive I had a well packed surface and a beaming wife. She hesitated when I first proposed putting WR's on our cars!
(BTW, not to brag but I consider myself very competent with a clutch having never burned one out, and don't advise this due to the wear you can easily cause. But it's nice to know what the car's capabilties are.)
