Couple of days ago I have posted a message

and found no helpful response from this board. Now I have extended info on the same case:
There is no communication response from the ODB port. I use PC based software from obd-2.com (have no TECH-2). The problem is in the car because with same cable and same PC I have perfect communication with my other 9-5.
Technical manual calls that on the moment of start, the ECU and MIU check for integrity on the P and I buss. If a communication error is detected selected type of error code is generated (check engine is going ON). But I have no error on the MIU. SID, audio, ACC and immobilizer works just fine. MIU shows all info as usual.
My problems are that I have no communication via OBD-2 port and my engine occasionally start cutting out power in high frequency (one break of power is about 0.5-1sec long followed by second one usually a second or two after). This very much looks like a loose electrical connection, but without ODB-2 port working one can not spot the problem location.
Does some of you have experienced similar problem, and what was your order of troubleshooting?
