Just managed to get a new DIC under warranty...(long)

Talk about cutting it close. I brought my Aero in for an end of warranty inspection with less then 100 km left of warranty. They found a couple of minor items that they said they would have to order from Sweden. I dropped my wife off to pick up the car and as she turned the car on the CEL came on. Thankfully she went right in and asked about it. As it turned out their Tech II was "borrowed" that morning, never to be seen again! They told us that when we came in to get the parts replaced they would check the CEL at that time. Three weeks and 2500 km later I call to see if the parts are in. They were and we schedule an appointment. As it turns out the CEL code was for intermittent DI failure, so I have a brand new DIC plus the spare one I just bought off e-bay. It certainly made my day, considering they want $800 CDN for the DIC installed. Thankfully I only paid $300 CDN for my new spare. I am also gratefull that the DIC did not fail completely and leave my wife and children stranded somewhere.
Anyway just wanted to share my good luck,
Matthew
