Ok...I've read the entire section on Automatic Climate Control for my 2000 Saab 9-5 and am still utterly confused. Can someone offer me some help and maybe answer some of the questions I still have:

1) So the basic operation of the ACC is to hit the Auto button once and then simply adjust the temperature on either side and this will control everything, right?
2) The rear defroster and side-view heated mirrors aren't controlled by this Auto feature and need to be turned on manually, right?
3) What does the Econ button and the recirculation buttons do?
4) What happens when you hit Auto twice?
5) When I turn off the car and the ACC is still on, I've noticed if I turn it on again shortly the ACC will resume where it was, but if I wait a while, and then turn the car back on, the ACC will be off? Is this supposed to happen? Can I change this so that the ACC is always on when I turn the car on?
6) How can I tell if my side-view heated mirrors are working?
7) If I have the ACC set at like 70 degrees F and all of a sudden start getting too hot or whatever, how can I quickly turn the A/C on? The A/C is basically turned on when the compressor is turned on, right?
8) If I'm the only passenger in the car (and am obviously driving the car), do I have to adjust both temperature controls to get the temperature I want, or just mine (the dealer said that if there is no passengers, the driver's side temperature overrides the passenger side temperature, but I couldn't find any reference to this anywhere in the manual)?
9) Does the left hand temperature control change the temperature for the left hand side of the car, or just the driver (and if its just for the driver, then the right hand temperature control would control the front passenger seat and rear passenger seats, right?)?
10) Portions of the manual talked about the ACC changing in increments of 1 degree, but mine seems to change in increments of 2 degrees...what's up with that?

Sorry for such inane questions, but I've never had an ACC system before so am a bit lost. Thanks for the help!

Sincerely,
Marc Bressman
