Had a strange occurance on my '00 9-5 w/35K. Approaching an intersection I pushed the clutch in and downshifted while braking and the engine surged to about 4K rpms. As soon as I engaged the clutch everything returned to normal but this happened on the next upshift. I coasted along for a bit playing with the clutch and sure enough every time I would press the pedal the engine began to climb in revs up to about 4K. This was at the end of a 2.5 hour drive to a ski area on snow covered roads averaging 40mph and giving the TCS quite a workout. Has not happened since and dealer could not reproduce.... Any ideas?
