Wheel Bearing Update

Thanks to those who responded to my message last week. Here is the background. I recently noticed a wah wah sound coming from the front left that sounded like a bad tire. I knew I had a tire w/ a slow leak so I took it to a local tire dealer. They checked the tire and said it could not be patched since it had been patched once and the hole is on the side. SO, I purchased two new OEM Michelins at $150 each. I drive off and immediately noticed the wah wah sound again. The sound is really noticeable when I take my foot off the gas and let the car coast. I researched this board and noticed similar descriptions that were related to wheel bearings. I took the car to a local Saab garage and he said it was the bearing. I picked the car up tonight and it is perfect. So about $700 later (two tires, alignment, bearings, and oil change) I'm back on the road. Thanks to all who post valuable information on this site.
