We got our '02 Aero a couple months before my wife gave birth to our first (and probably only). It's been doable since then but we rely on her '01 9-3 for more utility needs and long distance runs to the grandparents for the weekend.
Like the sph3re sez, 98% of the time the Aero's the car for the job, but I believe the next one will be a wagon. I've noticed Anika's toys and other supporting equipment seem to get bigger as she does.
