I suppose it serves me right, yesterday I posted about how reliable my car was so today I have problems:

(2000 Aero, 51K miles, 5speed)

Tonight after filling my gas tank the fuel gauge only rose to 1/2 tank. I only noticed it as I was pulling into the driveway (1 mile from the gas station). I went for a 7 mile drive and hit enough bumps in the road to jar loose anything mechanical. Very very slowly it started to rise - eventually it went up to about 3/4 tank. I know the tank was full because I fuel nozzle auto shutoff occured once, then I pumped for another 2 seconds before returning the nozzle.

The only thing I did different was, due to the cold, I sat inside my car during fueling with the ignition switch on but engine not running so my seat heaters would work.

Hopefully tomorrow morning things will be normal but this is still weird. Part of my 7 mile drive included a spin on the highway - everything was fine - no power issues.

Any ideas?
